An interesting result when I searched for photos using “rainbow”.
What may take a while is working out which is the appropriate medium for which thought or idea – the image of a single bullet compared with a handful of scattershot is vivid in my mind, which reveals the low quality of my recent reading history rather than direct unfortunate experience with firearms.
We had a busy day yesterday with several bits of technology – wordpress blogs, signing up for a wiki through learnspace, registering with hotmail (why? for instant messenger I think, but it’s all a bit of a blur) and gmail so that we could use google reader. When I told my daughters my gmail user name they fell about laughing, and warned me that any names with x in them were likely to attract a mountain of x-rated responses.
This doesn’t make much sense to me. The “this is your first post” offered edit or delete possibilities but I could not make that happen. The publish button is a nice reminder that what is written should have some literary or communicative merit – wouldn’t that be lovely?
